5 things to do for Valentine's Day on a Budget:
5. Write a letter to someone you love over the age of 65 yrs old= .44 cents
I feel this elderly generation is getting left out of the love bubble. They don't all read email and how lovely would it be to receive a handwritten letter???
4. Buy Balloons for someone you love under the age of 10 years old= $2.00
Remember how cool YOU were and how wonderful YOU felt when receiving balloons. Simple. Go over to the dollar store and pick up a few. Believe me. It will make them smile.
3. I know that some get down around this time of year but cheer up! Don't settle just to go out with someone just for free dinner or so you wont be alone. Heres another option.Make plans with friends and family you love. For the singles and the couples, make time or a space for your group to have fun. Get everyone together and have a potluck or night out or in. =$5.00-$10.00
2. Make your parents or a loved one a card.
It shows effort and care when you make something. Stop into the dollar store or Micheal's and pick up a few fun arts and crafts to make something for your someone special. = $5.00-$15.00
1. Do something special for you!!! =$1.00- $20.00
Some get soooo worked up about making someone else feel special. What about you. All about balance. Make sure to reward yourself with something that makes YOU feel good. If its your favorite meal, dessert, movie, indulge a little. You've earned it. Total= less than $40.00!!!
Once thing I've learned if you wait on someone else to make you happy...it will never happen. The time for you to be happy is now! So get out there and get started!!
Send me a note,
Many Blessings,
