Hungry?? Why wait?? 6 ways to eating healthy Morning Tea with Inspire Many

Great morning to you family!!!

I would love to hear more from you! What do you want to talk about? What are you interested in?

I know some are confused of when and what to eat!

I hear clients say oh I want to lose weight, I jut wont eat after 6.

my response: Hungry, why wait?

Here is a simple scenario that happens oh too often...

You wake up and rush off to work, without a thought of breakfast until your stomach starts to grumble.  maybe you will grab a cup of coffee.
Lunch time hits and you remember you want to lose weight soooo what happens: Oh I'll eat a salad. Im on a diet.

Then you work the rest of the day, drinking a diet coke or water.

So now, you've made it through traffic, you're finally home...it's 6 o' clock.

What happens next?

Some will keep to the no eating after 6 and just drink water.

Some will Binge because they havent eaten all day.

which category do you fit in?

Here are 6 steps to eating healthy:

1. Plan your meals: If you fail to plan, you plan to fail- we've all heard it. now do it!
You are less likely to grab junk if you have the "good stuff" packed and ready to go.

2. Plan rewards: Build rewards into your program. If you eat healthy every day for a week.  Plan one day to "mess up"  you can eat healthy 80%, and un healthy 20% :)  Everything in moderation.

3. Half your Plate: Make half of your plate veggies.

4. Pillage for Fiber. Include 25 g of fiber in your diet per day. Fiber can be found in fruits, veggies, english muffins, etc.

5. Pursue Water: Erase liquid calories: get rid of soda and juice. Replace with water.

6. Perspective: Dont focus on weight. Make it fun.  Eating healthy can be exciting. All depends on perspective.

3 Steps to Forgiving-Follow Suzy through her journey with forgiveness. Morning tea with Inspire Many

Good morning Family!

How have you been? Drop me a note to let me know you are doing well.

Today I will share a story of a girl named Suzy.

Suzy was an woman who did well for herself. She had her own place, she had a good job, she even had a nice car. But one thing she noticed is she was all alone. You see the problem was Suzy often held grudges. If someone did something she didn't like, she would begin to harp on the bad things. For instance, if a friend didn't call for a while. She would get an attitude when they did speak then say " been a while STRANGER." With all seriousness Suzy was livid. How can this person can me a friend and not call me. The nerve!

This is just a small example of what people dont forgive. But take 2 minutes to think of and write down three people (or three things done) YOU have not forgiven in your life and why.

The Bible says in Colossians 3:13 Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

Can you imagine if God forgave like you did? Where would you be? Have you been good to Him? Are you a good friend?

Here are 3 steps to Forgiveness:

1. Ask yourself: Why am I mad?

Write out your feelings. What happened exactly, who was really at fault? Sometimes, it can all be a misunderstanding. Was it the other person or was it really you? Writing is proven therapy for dealing with feelings.

2. Explore the effects on your health

Understand that harping on the negative actually hurts you more than it hurts anyone else. Research says that the effects of not forgiving or having malice against someone else can cause YOU to have chronic illness, ulcers, mental disorders, etc. Is it really worth it?

3. Ask Yourself: WWJD?

Christian or not. Jesus was a great role model. He lived a great life. Everything was always taken care of and He did not have a worry in the world. He was always forgiving and praying for even his enemies with His last words. "Luke 23:34- Forgive them Father for they know not what they do."

I dare you to take that attitude for a month! An attitude of forgiveness. Forgiving EVERY Wrong doing. You can even start small with a week.

5 Things to Do for Valentine's Day on a Budget- InspireMany.com Coach Cass

Good morning! How has your year kicked off? Is it going well? Are you goals on track? I know Valentine's Day is coming up soooooo I wanted to share

5 things to do for Valentine's Day on a Budget:

5. Write a letter to someone you love over the age of 65 yrs old= .44 cents

I feel this elderly generation is getting left out of the love bubble. They don't all read email and how lovely would it be to receive a handwritten letter???

4. Buy Balloons for someone you love under the age of 10 years old= $2.00

Remember how cool YOU were and how wonderful YOU felt when receiving balloons. Simple. Go over to the dollar store and pick up a few. Believe me. It will make them smile.

3. I know that some get down around this time of year but cheer up! Don't settle just to go out with someone just for free dinner or so you wont be alone. Heres another option.Make plans with friends and family you love. For the singles and the couples, make time or a space for your group to have fun. Get everyone together and have a potluck or night out or in. =$5.00-$10.00

2. Make your parents or a loved one a card.

It shows effort and care when you make something. Stop into the dollar store or Micheal's and pick up a few fun arts and crafts to make something for your someone special. = $5.00-$15.00

1. Do something special for you!!! =$1.00- $20.00

Some get soooo worked up about making someone else feel special. What about you. All about balance. Make sure to reward yourself with something that makes YOU feel good. If its your favorite meal, dessert, movie, indulge a little. You've earned it. Total= less than $40.00!!!

Once thing I've learned if you wait on someone else to make you happy...it will never happen. The time for you to be happy is now! So get out there and get started!!

Send me a note,
Many Blessings,
Coach Cass

5 Tips to Clean Out your Kitchen Cabinet--Coach Cass InspireMany.com

Hey Family!

So I'm here cooking and cleaning and I thought I'd stop in to share a few tips

5 Tips on Cleaning out Your Kitchen Cabinet

Some things can go undone because of our busy lives but this can take all of 10-15 minutes. And after the major purge it can be very simple upkeep. 1 can in, 1 can out.

#1: Throw out all Expired items.

Go shelf by shelf. Check expiration dates. Some will be written: Feb2509 that means it expired in 2009 or 10/07/21 This means that is expired July 21st 2010.

CAUTION: Do not eat expired canned good, or if goods are heavily dents or if anything is oozing from it. Botulism can be the result.

#2 Clean the shelf with bio-friendly products.

Bleach/ Ajax/ and other like cleaners can be very harsh on the sinuses. Therefore a good alternative is Simple Green product line- sold in local supermarkets. Get a separate spray bottle from the dollar store. Add majority water and small part product. Check bottle for directions. Cleaner can last for a very long time.

#3 Check Cabinets for Random Items.

I dont know if your family is anything like mine. But I found all tpes of things I did not know was there! Vix vapor rub ... cloves...jerk seasoning...old grits...

Check to see if everything is in its proper place or if it is was overdue to be thrown out.

And please do not call up family to see if they still want a bag of flour. Dont feed , what I like to call, the "hoarding monster" ((always hungry for random items, they didnt know they had)) TOSS it!

#4 When Placing items back on the shelf. Place goods in expiration order.

Place items expiring soonest towards the front. Also, you can take a marker and write the month and year ie. 7/11. so you know exactly how long you have until it expires. ((I learned this marking system from volunteering at a local homeless shelter. very efficient)).

#5 Recycle

If you can stand to open the cans. Please do wash each one out and place in your recycling bin. Mama Earth will thank you. Wear gloves or plastic bags ;). make it work. haha

Here is a quick video to give visual to the list above:

Have fun!

Tell me how it goes. Please share with friends

Much Love,
Coach Cass

Top 3 Excuses for not doing it God's Way--Morning Tea with Inspire Many

Hey Family!
Some of you may think why is a Wellness Coach writing about God so often?

Listen your Wellness has to do with you whole self. you cant just think about physical fitness and think everything will be alright. You spirituality is the core of your wellness. Mental, emotional, and physical. Think about it ..if you aren't right with God. Everything just seems wrong.

Hence today's topic: 3 Excuses for NOT Doing it GOD's Way

Lately, I decided that I am retired from dating. God has revealed certain things to me where I have decided it's best that I spend my time spreading his love and devoting more time to ministry.

The reaction I have gotten is: Why can't you do both? I love dating, you want me to give it up?! How the heck am I going to find someone if I don't date? What about that nice guy, you should jump on it girl! What about SEX?!?

I've heard just about everything in the book!

#3 Reason For Not Doing it God's Way::: Focused on the Feel Good

As a nation/ society, we love what brings us pleasure NOW. If we are able to attain it NOW, we want it NOW. The thought or idea of having to wait is repulsive. Hence all the the popular media where people sleep together within the first 3 dates of knowing each other. I like you, you like me. Let's have sex. Intimacy without commitment. I'm guilty. I have been there. But is it right....nope.

But it feels good, Coach Cass, some may say. yea it feels good, but so does heroin entering a drug addict's veins...or a double cheeseburger to a food addict. Just because it feels good doesn't mean that its good.

#2 Reason For Not Doing it God's Way::: Like My Way Better

Some think they have found the answers. Skewing God's Word to say its ok. I've got a handle on things, make good money, I'm not hurting anyone...so it's all good. I'm having fun.

Your way or the highway?? I dont even have to say...If you take a like time each day 5minutes..to open and read God's Word, you WILL feel convicted. Its not even a question.

In interviewing over 50 men, I have found that the majority say "If we aren't in a committed relationship, I am not committed to anyone. Therefore, its okay to sleep with someone else...in other words its cool to have sex with other people and you. And spend time intimately with others and you." Hahaha cake and eat it too!

Don't get me wrong there are ladies that feel the same. The point is: Like My Way better. They would rather live like their way.

#1 Excuse for Not doing it God's Way: It's too Hard

Since I have shared my views on dating, and my decision. People have looked at me crazy! "That's way too hard Casandra!" I could never do that.

I'm choosing to turn my focus to God. As society we focus on what feels good, what we want....what about God? Where does He fit in? Does He fit in where He is supposed to...or where you place Him.

As I reflect on my life, I see the happiest times are when i truly did all I could to live in line with God's will. And I personally am convicted about certain things as I read through the Bible. So guess what,I'm changing. It all begins with a decision!

What do you decide?

Thanks for reading.

Much love and Many Blessings,
Coach Cass

Would love to hear from you, tell me what are other excuses for not doing it God's Way?
