I wanna be a Billionaire...Morning Tea with Inspire Many

Hey family!

Play this song as you read.....

Silver and Gold...

We may not think silver and gold...but dollars and cents...

how many times have you said. I wish I made more money. or I dont make enough money.

How is it going? Are you "surviving"? Getting your hair done/ going out to eat/ getting that new year's eve outfit??

Man money sho' is tight... Girl i just bought my kid a wii and an iphone...kids nowadays...

Are you seeing the contradictions in these statements? I am...

As I reflect on this last day of 2010. Another decade gone. What's different... nothing.

Today will mark the day I read the Bible from Cover to Cover. One of my greatest accomplishments. One thing I see is that the same greed that was in biblical times, exists today. Its never enough.

But what do you spend money on? I hear of the travel, new stuff, tvs, heat tickets, latest gadgets...but how much is spent on helping you change from the inside. How much honestly have you spent on your mindset this year?  Have you taken the time to say "Im worth it"? To say i am going to get a coach to help me get from where I am today to where I really want to be?

How many times have you woken up and still unhappy? Relationships/ work/ spiritual life...you know they are not where you want them to be...get up then look into the mirror and you're not happy...the way you look, your weight...how does it change? Plastic surgery cannot change your mindset. you are still the same person inside.

I sit and listen to the song attached, I'd rather have Jesus than silver and gold.  How many times has Jesus been there for you in times of need? Somehow He has great timing!

What is it you want to change this year? Have you spent any time truly improving you and then have you spent any time with God.  Dont let another year fall into routine....I can help.

The goal for this year is to help others live a life filled with passion, joy, and success! Accomplishing the goals they set out to do in 2011.

To you success!

Cellphones & quality time… Morning Tea with Inspire Many

Cellphones & quality time… Morning Tea with Inspire Many

Hello my name is Casandra and I’m addicted to my cellphone. Welcome Casandra!

Have you ever felt like this? Every time your phone beeps, chimes, or sings …RUN!!! Jumping over every hurdle, digging into the bottomless purse, or maybe its just ALWAYS in your hand…Hello?

Or has this happened to you? You are in the midst of dinner/ conversation/ event / CHURCH and the person with you decides to answer the phone or is always looking at it.

How does that make you feel?

I’ve been on both sides. GUILTY!

Little by little I have been working on my addiction. Putting it on silent when spending quality time. Checking it, but not as often. At least not during dinner or conversation.

You would have thought that my life would’ve ended on Christmas eve when it dropped in water…but guess what I’m alive! Im here! So proud of me..I have come a long way.  What would you do if your phone blew up today or you had to do without it for 3 days, would life end?

How much value do you put in your phone?

A wise woman once told me that when you decide to answer the phone during spending time with someone that you’ve placed more value in the person on the other end of the phone.

Think about it.  How are you treating those you love?  Do you value their time? How do you show it?

I remember a time, if someone called your Home phone (which is now like a four letter word), if they didn’t get you…guess what..they’d leave a message!  And when you were able and willing you would call back.  Imagine that. You owned your time.

So how is it…that now as soon as a text comes, fb message, tweet, call comes in…we feel guilty or get reprimanded for not responding in record time… microwave society. I want it and I want it now.

Im not telling you to cut people off or not respond. I’m just sharing a few thoughts on how time is spent. Studies show that Everytime a distraction comes in, it throws off productivity at least by 11 minutes to get back to your train of thought. So for those of us who may stay “connected” all day…does it really help your overall goal? Ijs.

Ok ok Im getting off my soap box and going to eat with the fam.

Much love and many Blessings,

Coach Cass.

Jesus’ Christmas Present- Morning Tea with Inspire Many

Jesus’ Christmas Present

Merry Christmas Rockstar Family!
Today we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ… or do we?

Most little kids have slept with one eye open ready just ready for the sun to shine through their window…did Santa Claus come?

In the past week, I had conversation after conversation of people’s childhood. Their fondest memories of coming down and seeing the piles of unwrapped presents from Santa and maybe one gift from their parents.  Half eaten cookies and empty milk glasses.  So excited and happy that Santa Came! Woohoo!

Huh??

Stories of Christmas trees and heavy eating, parties, and shopping… huh??

Not one mention of Jesus.

I think of an analogy a wise man once told me: How would you feel if every 1 got a present but you on your birthday?

Everyone excited that its your birthday, everyone celebrating your birthday, but no one comes to your house, no one calls or texts you!  Wow! How would you feel?

My one challenge to you today is spend sometime with the Birthday Boy. Call Jesus, He’s on the Mainline. Tell Him thanks for being Him. Tell Him he’s wonderful. Read Him a story or two. Jesus gave His life for you. I’m pretty sure it’s the least you can do.

Do you ever get up and ask “where are you? “
“Are you listening?”
You’ve just gotten in a bind…
Fallen flat on your behind
And then you remember
To call the mainline
But is it too late?
Have you missed the time on your date?
Sitting and pondering alone
Wondering if He’ll pick up the Phone
I’m sorry Jesus
I’m sorry for cheating on you
Spending time with music, love, travel, movies
Never enough time with You
Vow this time to make this right
Saying hi and hello at each daylight
Asking forgiveness in the only way I can
Spending time with you as a real woman
A woman who prays
A woman who knows the way
A woman who asks
A woman who receives
Thanking you God because I believe.
I believe in You
I believe I can be renewed
I thank You in advance
For the new path, for the people, for the ability to shine your light.
Thank you God, Your child, Casandra

Thank you.

Who Comes First? Inspire Many Thought of the Day

Hi Family! I know it has been awhile!  I've been traveling. Dont worry I didnt leave you out.  Look and subscribe to www.youtube.com/inspiremanytv for the little episodes I created just for you!

Yes!

Ok so here is my mini thought of the day: Who comes first?

How many times have you bailed on family for a fun time with friends or your significant other?

Take some time to reflect this holiday on who has been there for you through the years.  Who really would love to spend time with you and you haven't even called.

Make a list of those you love and find a "square to spare" in the next two weeks to spend with them.

My group coaching calls this month are about "Finding Your Focus". it has been wonderful to start to realize who may be a distraction in your life.  Who do you spend time with? Is it in line with what YOU want and where you want to be?

Time is precious.

Choose Wisely.

Much love & Many blessings,
Coach Cass

How you livin'? Midnight snack with Inspire Many

Officially bootleg. Forget all the things I said about friends! Booooo!

Just kidding…so here I am sitting outside in the cold at an airport waiting….Yet I still give thanks…

Topic: How you livin'?

Today I visited Cooperative feeding in Broward County, FL.  This is one of the programs that the local United funds….oh my goodness. Where do I begin….

Approximately 400-700 people line up everyday outside of their door to get a meal or sometime of help. When you arrive at outside the gate, there is a parking lot full of cars…bmws, Chryslers, ford….nice to not so nice…thinking that these are all the volunteers? Wrong…these are folks just like you and I, seeking help.  They may have somewhere to live but the lights and electricity are turned off. Therefore they have to be one of the first 60 people in line to receive a hot shower for them and their baby.  Or maybe they need help receiving foodstamps- I swear you need a degree just to apply- long and hard process.

Today the one person that stands out in my mind…called to me as I left and asked HEY are you Beyonce’s sister?? I smiled.  Middle aged man with normal close on, hair nicely combed…if you saw him in the streets you would never know…

He proceeded to tell me …You would be proud…-Why is that?  He walked over and took over a sheet of paper. –Those who know me already know that my mind was ALL of the place of what this man could be showing me…

Guess what it was???

A printout from his grades for the semester..He received All A’s in 3 Master’s Classes. Wow!

So then I thought to myself, oh he must work here and just wanted to share…I thought way too soon.

This gentleman then said his professors ask how do you get all A’s. His response he doesn’t watch tv nor listen to the radio. Little do they know…that its because he lives behind an abandoned building against a wall…WOW!

For those who go through life each day, complain about not having the latest and greatest or not living in the best places. Start to see the other side of the coin.

Just what i…you woke up this morning…and opened the door of your car…stepped into a parking lot…and ran to jump online just to have 1 hot meal and a shower for the day…or Just imagine that you had a home but you lived alone and where handicapped to a point you couldn’t leave. Counting on volunteers to deliver a food box once a month with a few staple items…People right next to you are suffering…Start counting blessings, Start Giving Back, Life is too short.

Much love & Many Blessings,
Coach Cass

Friends, how many of us have them? Morning Tea with Inspire Many

Ahhh yes, finally finished a hard mission last night and I'm able to sit on my bed an smile.

I'll tell you this, there is nothing like knowing that you have someone reliable in your life.

If I could define a true friend in one word it would be Reliable!

Topic of today: Friends

Do you have friends?

I know I have at least 2.

Growing up, my mother taught me the meaning and strength behind keeping to your word. For example, if she promised we would go to a play or to the zoo or even on a trip...I would never question that it was going to happen ...because my mom was and still is a woman of her word.  There is something beautiful about being reliable. A smile comes to my face when I reflect through life and see people who time and time again that have kept their word.  Special kudos to Omar, Blair, and Leslie.

What is the criteria for a true friend?  And another question, just to be nosey ...does your boyfriend or girlfriend meet this criteria?

I know at times I have hesitated to ask a significant other for something I needed, because I know if they dont come through it has sooo much more weight in terms of mattering( if thats a word).

Has that happened to you?

I find a man willing to help a women he's into very attractive.  For instance, you come to my house and see a cabinet broken, automatically bringing a drill and a screw next time you come over is mind blowing.  Thoughtfulness...a feeling that I am  being taken care of is so essential....

Ok that was a little off tangent ;)

Back to friends, I give thanks for those that are in my life.   Sometimes, different friends play different roles.  You know who can't "hold water" to the ones that will carry your secrets to the grave.  You know the ones you can call up to party and those you can call to pray with.  I have several people in my life that serve different roles but all in all I'm happy that you are here.

Take the time out to show close friends that you care.  Especially those that have been there for you. The more and more I reflect and I read through the Bible...I see that we have a greater purpose here on earth and its much larger than us.  Treat others with love and kindness.  Reflect God in all of our actions.  Yes, easier said than done....but when you are focused on doing Gods will...i tell you all will be well.

Ok thats enough of my thoughts for today.

Enjoy the rest of your day.

Much love & Many Blessings,
Coach Cass

Do You Love Your LIfe? Morning Tea with Inspire Many

Good morning Family!!!

Such a beautiful day....a beautiful weekend...spending time with my mom was needed...

Its soo funny the older you get the more you appreciate your parents and their role and sacrifice.  I give thanks for all 3 of my parents and the rest of those who have been in my life.  Thank you.

Today's topic: Do you love your life?

Can you honestly take a look in the mirror on every aspect of your life and say I love it!

If your health, relationships, career, spiritual walk, and life balance to a place that you are happy?
If no, what are you doing to get it there.

After a coaching session I held this weekend I learned that many times we look on the outside and as long as we look good on the outside we feel that everything is fine...its all good becuase I look good.

How long can you cover up your real wants and desire with nice clothes and a fresh "tape"?

Its time to start asking those hard questions....

Am I able to have a conversation on any issue with any one?
Do I have relationships that make me feel loved and supported?
Do I love my career and is it in line with my purpose?

There is so much! But this quick note is not to bash or make you feel overwhelmed.

This can be done and it can be done well. You can live a life you love.  Waking up smilng every morning, happy throughout the day, and going to sleep feeling accomplished.

Contact me for a free life assessment: leave a message at 305349DOIT(3648) or coach@inspiremany.com.

Love you so much and I look forward to being apart of your testimony.

Are you ready for a Relationship? Morning Tea with InspireMany

Hi Family!

Top O the morning to you!!!!

Love...it seems that every conversation seems to revert to who are you seeing or not seeing. How did you meet...where is it going...

Relationships...a term some use to define their worth.  A collection of people think "oh no- what do I do with out a boo"! So they just pick up "something" to feel wanted and appreciated.

Topic: Are you ready for a Relationship?

When was the last time you genuinely smiled?

Often times, 2 people enter a relationship unconsciously. Somehow, they spend lots of time and then one day they are together.  Missing or overlooking signs that maybe this isnt the right thing...but because they've spent so much time who wants to start alllll of again.

i've seen some coupled walk down the aisle with this mentality! STOP!

we learned this in kindergarten!

Stop! Look! & Listen!

Stop!--If you find that you like someone. Stop and take the time to get to know them for who they truly are.

Look- Look at their actions. How do they treat you? Do you see them in their natural element?  How do they act in different crowds around different types of people.  I can't tell you the amount of times that I've seen or even experienced committing to a relationship from spending time with a person alone and then one day...they may be totally different with family or their friends. Very important to get to know and see the different sides of who you may be dating.

Listen- Listen to their conversation.  Do they respect what you have to say? Do they seek your opinion or are they just constantly talking? In my experience, a one-sided conversation gets old quick. Much more fun when both parties are engaged and you feel that interest is reciprocated.  Am I right? Also are they only talking about sex or physical attributes? Or are the interested in your vision or helping and supporting you achieve your goals?

Stop! Look! & Listen!

Master the basics...take it slow...If you rush a cake it is ruined the same  here....if you rush through dinner to get to dessert you just may be disappointed.

Spend time getting to know you and what you want. Have your own hobbies and interests. Make sure not to revolve everything around your significant other.

Then ask yourself the tough questions:

Do I want to be in a relationship with Dante because he is the right one for me and I am happy or because I have a void Im trying to fill...

Tough questions but someone has to ask them.

If you truly are ready, I wish you both all the best. Any questions, text me 3053493648.

Much love & Many Blessings,
Coach Cass

Are you Ready for Love?

What's Your definition of Love?... Morning Tea with InspireMany

Good morning Family!!!

Wow today is such a gorgeous day! Each morning I wake up and look out the window...I surely have a smile on my face. Blue skies and palm trees. Moving from NY to Florida was one of the best decisions I have made in my lifetime. Here I am complaining that 67 degrees is cold! I know I know all of my NY family are looking at my crazy! hahaha ok enough on to the topic

What's Your Definition of Love?

I have heard a good feeling, wanting to be around another, gifts, time spent, but no one said what I read in the Bible this morning.

Today I read a scripture: 1John 3:16-18

16 This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. 17 If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? 18 Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.

Powerful, is that truly how you see love? The last person you said: "I love you" to...could you see yourself laying down your life for that person?

Love is a strong word but according to the Word it has to be followed by actions.  How many times has someone said " I love you" but their actions do not reflect those words.

This note is a short note to help start the thinking process of what does love truly mean to you...is it in line with the Word...how does it differ....

I hope you share some of your thoughts with me...would love to hear.

In the meantime, enjoy your Saturday,

Much love & Many Blessings,
Coach Cass

What are you waiting for? Morning Tea with Inspire Many

Hey Family,

It has been a while I know. I am officially on a MAC!!! Wooohooo!!!

Today's topic.

What are you waiting for?

How many times have you put off something that you know you needed or wanted...saying maybe next time or next year? How many times have you hesitated to take that leap of faith due to fear?

The time is now!!!

God has created you in His image. You were set up to succeed. Everything you need is already within you. It is up to you to believe. It is soooo amazing.

Once you unlock the door that you have been staring at, Im telling you... A Whole New World is in front of you.

For example, for years I have been telling myself I love helping others make a change in behavior. But it wasn't until this year that I sat down and did the training to become a Wellness Coach and Life Coach.  As I look back on how long it took me to finally sign up for the classes and go through them... I say wow if I only knew what I know now. I would've acted sooner!
What are you waiting for?

Finding a new job?
Getting a Life Coach?
Starting a Relationship?
Saying I love you?

I know all can be scary. What pops into your mind?  Fearing rejection or failure?

Think about this...what is the worst thing that can happen?  Things dont play out EXACTLY how you wanted them to?

I'll tell you this, things will always workout.  In the end, you will always learn and be able to dust yourself off and keep going.

How tall are you? I'm 5'7

A wise woman once told me, Casandra every time you fall ....you are 5 feet 7 inches closer to your goal!

I love it!

So what are YOU waiting??? Live it, Be it, Do it!

Much love & Many Blessings,
Coach Cass
