What's Your definition of Love?... Morning Tea with InspireMany

Good morning Family!!!

Wow today is such a gorgeous day! Each morning I wake up and look out the window...I surely have a smile on my face. Blue skies and palm trees. Moving from NY to Florida was one of the best decisions I have made in my lifetime. Here I am complaining that 67 degrees is cold! I know I know all of my NY family are looking at my crazy! hahaha ok enough on to the topic

What's Your Definition of Love?

I have heard a good feeling, wanting to be around another, gifts, time spent, but no one said what I read in the Bible this morning.

Today I read a scripture: 1John 3:16-18

16 This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. 17 If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? 18 Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.

Powerful, is that truly how you see love? The last person you said: "I love you" to...could you see yourself laying down your life for that person?

Love is a strong word but according to the Word it has to be followed by actions.  How many times has someone said " I love you" but their actions do not reflect those words.

This note is a short note to help start the thinking process of what does love truly mean to you...is it in line with the Word...how does it differ....

I hope you share some of your thoughts with me...would love to hear.

In the meantime, enjoy your Saturday,

Much love & Many Blessings,
Coach Cass
