Jesus’ Christmas Present- Morning Tea with Inspire Many

Jesus’ Christmas Present

Merry Christmas Rockstar Family!
Today we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ… or do we?

Most little kids have slept with one eye open ready just ready for the sun to shine through their window…did Santa Claus come?

In the past week, I had conversation after conversation of people’s childhood. Their fondest memories of coming down and seeing the piles of unwrapped presents from Santa and maybe one gift from their parents.  Half eaten cookies and empty milk glasses.  So excited and happy that Santa Came! Woohoo!

Huh??

Stories of Christmas trees and heavy eating, parties, and shopping… huh??

Not one mention of Jesus.

I think of an analogy a wise man once told me: How would you feel if every 1 got a present but you on your birthday?

Everyone excited that its your birthday, everyone celebrating your birthday, but no one comes to your house, no one calls or texts you!  Wow! How would you feel?

My one challenge to you today is spend sometime with the Birthday Boy. Call Jesus, He’s on the Mainline. Tell Him thanks for being Him. Tell Him he’s wonderful. Read Him a story or two. Jesus gave His life for you. I’m pretty sure it’s the least you can do.

Do you ever get up and ask “where are you? “
“Are you listening?”
You’ve just gotten in a bind…
Fallen flat on your behind
And then you remember
To call the mainline
But is it too late?
Have you missed the time on your date?
Sitting and pondering alone
Wondering if He’ll pick up the Phone
I’m sorry Jesus
I’m sorry for cheating on you
Spending time with music, love, travel, movies
Never enough time with You
Vow this time to make this right
Saying hi and hello at each daylight
Asking forgiveness in the only way I can
Spending time with you as a real woman
A woman who prays
A woman who knows the way
A woman who asks
A woman who receives
Thanking you God because I believe.
I believe in You
I believe I can be renewed
I thank You in advance
For the new path, for the people, for the ability to shine your light.
Thank you God, Your child, Casandra

Thank you.
