Man in the Mirror: Morning Tea with InspireMany

Hello beautiful family!

I'm grateful for a new day and all the new family I have met.  This past weekend was a sad but joyous time in my life.  We celebrated the life of my cousin Ilene who passed away.  I met family from all over, from Jamaica to Cali to Canada and back!  Amazing!  So good to feel connected.

Topic: Taking a look at yourself

Critiscm comes if you like it or not. Many times you may just have haters or maybe its love.  Either way it is always good to take a look in the mirror and look at yourself.

Now if a person, is ALWAYS criticizing and hardly has good things to say. Take their opinion with a grain of salt and ask if they have looked in the mirror lately.

We all have doubts, downfalls, insecurities, and fears.  The message is not to play into them but to overcome or outgrow them.

My pastor preached a sermon that has stuck with me... instead of always looking out the window into what someone else is doing.  Look in the mirror.

There was a story of a woman who always looked out the window into the neighbors yard.  Her neighbor would hang his clothes out to dry once a week.  This woman would always think to herself why is her neighbor hanging ditry clothes out to dry.  One day, when the woman came to the window, she noticed he neighbor hangin bright white clothes.  She called her husband over and said look hunny I wonder what made them hang clean clothes.  Her husband replied, they didnt change anything... I finally cleaned the window....

Instead of scrutinizing others, take a look at yourself.  Be humble in what you find.  Things you don't like change/ or begin to work on.  Change is hard but it can be done and it can be done well.

Love yourself for who you are and what you work on becoming.  Only you have to deal with the TRUE you at the end of the day.

Understand there will always be haters/ people jealous of what you do or who you are.  Some will comment out of love. Everyone have their own agenda.  If you are happy with where you are going and what you are doing...keep striving.

Only God can judge you.

Many Blessings,
Coach Cass
